This is why your'e here.  The Orca Fishing Club was founded by Lucas and Captain Orion in 2015.  Their families moved here decades ago and have become masters of the local waters.  This is what they do.  They catch fish and they show everyone that's interested in this sport how to do the same.  Get to the boat launch early and watch the captain catch todays bait fish with his throw nets.  It doesn't get any more authentic than this.  Time to ship sail and hit the open waters.  Certain times of the year the humpback whales will surface and the dolphins come play all the time.  You've got to see it to believe it and dolphin and whale watching tours are available.

Welcome to Orca Fishing Club! We are a diversified international team specializing in interactive, hands-on sport fishing. Our team includes a fishery biologist and English, Spanish and French speaking guides certified in CPR and first aid. We are located in the majestic tropical waters of Tambor Bay, Costa Rica home to a multitude of game fish. Our days starts in the charming village of Pochote, where we have easy off and on access to our 23 foot boat. Orca Fishing Club offers the opportunity for clients to cast, troll, jig, use live bait or fly fish. Depending on client preferences and experience, we can tailor the day to suit the group. Tambor Bay's unique geography provides protected waters allowing for fishing access to inshore as well as offshore species all in the same day.
